Challenges

To win a higher place on the Ranking List, a player may challenge another who is no more than four places above him/her. New members may be invited by a committee member to challenge at an appropriate level.

Changes

After a successful challenge the winner should record the result in writing in the tennis section box, in the bar. The revised list will normally be reflected online here, within a week of this notification

Value of list

The ranking list offers members a chance to play against others of similar standard. It helps the committee in selecting teams for external competitions, and is also vital in assigning relative handicaps, for our own club tournaments.
